主講人介紹:
Zhiqiang (Eric) Zheng is a professor in Information Systems with a joint appointment in Finance at the University of Texas at Dallas. He received his Ph.D. in IS from the Wharton school. His current research interests focus on advanced business analytics, Fintech and health care analytics. He has published papers in Management Science, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly and Informs Journal on Computing among others. He is currently a senior editor at Information Systems Research. He spearheaded UTD’s M.S. in Business Analytics program, which has become the world largest program of this kind with 1000+ enrolling students.

Healthcare analytics has attracted a growing interest in Information Systems. Eric Zheng will offer his perspective on how to make healthcare analytics research better and relevant. And he will use his paper “Are online physician reviews reliable indicators of patient outcomes” as an example.
