To advocate the atmosphere of creativity and innovation, on Dec 1st, School of Management &Economics and IFLYTEK jointly organized the ‘Mobile Classroom’ experiential event. About 40 students took part in this event.
Our students got to know information about the profile of IFLYTEK, the evolution of artificial speech recognition and explanation on applied technology through visiting and interaction with staffs. They had reached a common idea-Only by innovating can we follow the trend of the times. At the end of the event, the entrepreneurship mentor, Ying Ma gave a summary speech, which inspired the students to work harder to lay a solid foundation for future innovation and startups.
This event aimed to help students acquire innovation abilities by means of learning while visiting the company, which was adhering to school’s plans for cultivating high-caliber personnel. During the event, our students participated activity and expressed their views. By experiencing the charm of innovation and artificial intelligence, students gained knowledge and strengthened their determination to contribute to ‘mass entrepreneurship and innovation’ strategy.
Zhiming Zhang, a 2016 undergraduate, says:” I was impressed by IFLTTEK’s technology, which has been applied widely in many fields. Meanwhile, as we marvel at these technologies, we should also consider the relationship between AI and human being.”
Yufei Miao, a 2017 undergraduate, says:” It was a profound experience. AI is now connected with everything happens in life and its impact is evident.”
Zhaoying Chen, a sophomore, says she benefits a lot from this event:” Artificial intelligence is undoubtedly becoming the trend of the times.”
Siyuan Li, a freshman in school, points out:” Human being should consider how to use AI to assist their work instead of letting AI to replace their occupation.”
