From February 25 to 26, the 2022 Annual Meeting of the National Society of Management Science and Engineering and the 20th China Management Science and Engineering Forum was held in Shenyang, Liaoning province. The conference announced the 2022 "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award Plan" of the Society of Management Science and Engineering. Yang YuanTao, a doctoral graduate of the School of Management and Economics (instructor: Professor Wang Zhaohua), whose doctoral dissertation on “China's Carbon Emission Structure Characteristics and Emission Reduction Strategy from the Binary perspective of supply and demand”was successfully selected.

Yang Yuantao received his doctor's degree in management from Beijing Institute of Technology in September 2020, and is supervised by Professor Wang Zhaohua from the School of Management and Economics. Yang Yuantao's doctoral thesis is a systematic research on the carbon emission structure and corresponding emission reduction strategies on national and provincial level from the perspective of supply and demand. His paper were published in Nature Communications, Science of the Total Environment, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and other high-level journals, and won the excellent doctoral dissertation of Beijing Institute of Technology. Previously, Wang Chen (graduated in 2017), a doctoral student under the guidance of Professor Wang Zhaohua, won the 2020 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Society of Management Science and Engineering.
