Symposium of Information Management and Information System-English Joint Degree Class of 2022 of Beijing Institute of Technology-Beijing For

On September 12,2024, the School of Management held a grand welcome symposium for the students of the Beijing Institute of Technology-Beijing Foreign Studies University 2022 Information Management and Information System-English (Joint Degree) program. Yin Li, vice director of Academic Affairs Department of Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhang Feng, vice dean of Mingde College, Che Huiquan, Deputy Secretary of School of Management, Professor Zhao Yutao, assistant dean of School of Management and director of Grade 22, and Associate Professor Gao Huiying, director of Teaching of Information Management and Information System attended the symposium. The symposium was presided over by Professor Zhang Xiang, vice dean of the School of Management.

Director Yin Li, Zhang Feng and Che Huiquan were invited to make speeches respectively. Several leaders extended a warm welcome to all the students from the joint degree program. Yin Li mentioned that the joint degree program is a high-quality program, pooling the excellent teachers and quality resources of the two universities, and is very happy for the excellent achievements of the students in their studies in the past two years. At the same time, she also hopes that students will cherish the opportunity to broaden their horizons and become better selves during their study.

Zhang Feng put forward several requirements for the students: I hope that the students should strengthen their ideals and beliefs, cultivate their patriotic feelings, strengthen their moral cultivation, broaden their knowledge, cultivate the spirit of struggle, and increase their comprehensive quality.

Secretary Che Huiquan pointed out that Beijing Institute of Technology and Beijing Foreign Studies University have the same roots and the same red gene.
