On the morning of March 13,2023, the Digital Economy Innovation Research Center of Beijing Institute of Technology and the Government of Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing city held the construction planning meeting of "Digital Xiuzhou" in Xiuzhou District Convention and Exhibition Center. Guo Zhen, Deputy Secretary of Xiuzhou District Committee and Secretary of Political and Legal Committee, Sun Wei, vice chairman of Xiuzhou CPPCC, and nearly 20 leaders of the government and other relevant departments attended the meeting. Zhu Bin, head of Jiaxing Digital Economy Innovation Research Center, Zhang Wanli, Luo Shucheng and other people attended the meeting. Xiuzhou District Reform Office Director Wu Chao presided over the meeting.
Associate Professor Zhu Bin first introduced in detail the overall framework of the digital Xiuzhou and the core supporting role of the platform for the digital reform and digital economy construction in Xiuzhou District. Then the relevant person in charge of each department spoke one by one, giving advice for the digital construction.
The digital Xiuzhou project has two core contents. One is to take the 542 square kilometers of the whole Xiuzhou District as a laboratory, and establish a complete twin Xiuzhou based on the space perception, networking and imaging technology; the other is to carry out systematic research and construction for social governance and service issues on the basis of the digital Xiuzhou twin. The project will be constructed in three years, and the first phase of the project is expected to invest about 10 million yuan.
