On December 9th, the expert review meeting of self-evaluation of Beijing Institute of Technology was held online. Qin Zhihui, deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, attended and delivered a speech. The experts participating in the review meeting came from Renmin University of China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, South China University of Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University and other schools strong on business administration. Leaders of graduate school, planning and Finance Department, leaders of the School of Management and Economics, responsible professors of Business Administration Department, and representatives of young teachers attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, Qin Zhihui, on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the experts. He said that Beijing Institute of Technology has completed the first round of "double first-class" construction task with high quality, and briefly introduced the leap-forward development achievements of the university in recent years from the aspects of talent training, discipline construction, team construction and scientific and technological innovation.
Professor Wang Tao systematically summarized the achievements made in the past evaluation period from five aspects: the basic situation of the doctoral program, teaching staff, scientific research, talent training and service contribution. The seven evaluation experts fully affirmed the achievements of the construction of Beijing Institute of Technology, and put forward suggestions for improvement from the aspects of discipline direction refinement and cross-integration.
After the evaluation meeting, Professor Wang Junzheng, the executive vice dean of the Graduate School, expressed his gratitude to all the evaluation experts on behalf of the Graduate School. He hoped that the School could further think about how to give full play to the advantages and characteristics of Beijing Institute of Technology to do the follow-up construction and development of the business administration department under the background of digital economy.
Finally, Professor Wang Zhaohua, dean of the School of Management and Economics expressed his gratitude to all the experts, school leaders and institutions for their care and support to the Department of Business Administration. He said that the suggestions put forward today have great inspiration for our future discipline construction, and have a strong guiding role for the follow-up business administration discipline construction!
