On February 2,2023, the launch meeting of the major project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Modeling and Application Research of Complex Systems of Climate Economy" was held at the Beijing Institute of Technology both online and offline.
National Natural Science Foundation committee of party member, deputy director, academician Hou Zengqian, President of Beijing Institute of Technology, academician Long Teng, Vice President professor Wei Yiming and professor wang bo, researcher Liu ZuoYi, project guidance expert panel members, and more than 30 people attended the launch meeting.
Professor Wei Yiming, the project leader, and the leaders of each sub project made reports on the research objectives and content, technical scheme, expected results and organizational management respectively. The academic guidance expert panel listened to the report carefully and gave full affirmation, and put forward constructive guidance on the implementation of the project from many aspects such as interdisciplinary integration, technical scheme optimization, project organization and management.
