On November 30, the self-evaluation expert review meeting of the management Science and Engineering discipline of Beijing Institute of Technology was held online. Party committee standing committee, vice President professor Wei Yiming attended the meeting and gave a speech. Reviewing experts were invited from Tsinghua university, Tianjin university, Wuhan university, Dalian university of technology, Shanghai jiaotong university, Harbin university of technology, Hefei university of technology, China university of science and technology, Northeastern university and other institutes with strong management science and engineering disciplines. Leaders of graduate School, Planning and Finance Department, leaders of School of Management and Economics, professors of management science and Engineering, and representatives of young teachers attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, Vice President Wei Yiming expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the experts. He said that Beijing Institute of Technology has completed the first round of "double first-class" construction task with high quality, and briefly introduced the leap-forward development achievements of the university in recent years from the aspects of talent training, discipline construction, team construction and scientific and technological innovation. He pointed out that the self evaluation was designed to guarantee the doctoral degree program quality, graduate training quality, and enhance the level of discipline construction!
Professor Yan Zhijun, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management and Economics and the group leader of the evaluation period of Management Science and Engineering, systematically summarized the achievements made in the past evaluation period from five aspects: the basic information of the doctoral degree program, teaching staff, scientific research, talent training and service contribution. Nine evaluation experts fully affirmed the construction effect of the doctoral program of management science and engineering of Beijing Institute of Technology, and put forward suggestions for improvement from the aspects of discipline orientation and doctoral enrollment.
After the evaluation meeting, Professor Wang Junzheng, the executive vice dean of the Graduate School thanked all the evaluation experts for their suggestions, and hoped that the school would further refine the evaluation report based on the experts' suggestions, and continue to do a good job in the follow-up work of self-evaluation.
