On the afternoon of May 11,2022, the Seminar on Information Management and Information System Professional Construction of Beijing Institute of Technology was successfully held.The seminar was hosted by the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology.Xiao Xuan, Vice Minister of Academic Affairs Department of the University, Professor Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Yan Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Professor Zhang Xiang, Vice Dean, and Professor Chen Xiang, Vice Dean, attended the seminar. The seminar was held online in the form of Tencent conference. In addition to the teachers from the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, more than 100 leaders and experts from Beijing University of Science and Technology , Beijing International Studies University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, University of International Business and Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics and other universities also actively participated in the seminar.
The seminar was hosted by Associate Professor Gao Huiying and Associate Professor Wang Liu'An, School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology.At the meeting, Wang Zhaohua, dean of the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, expressed his gratitude to the experts for the participation and delivered a speech.
Afterwards, the conference entered the keynote report session, and six well-known professors in the field brought us wonderful reports on professional construction.These reports covered the management information system professional personnel training, industry characteristic information management and information system professional construction, intelligence and data governance: information management and information system professional opportunities and challenges, information management and information system undergraduate professional construction, data science featured professional personnel training mode, building first-class management discipline in science and engineering universities, etc.
The meeting ended with a closing speech by Professor Yan Zhijun, Party Secretary of the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology.
